The Observation

For years, Hope Kole watched members of the Afro-Caribbean community in Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge drive hours out of the region just to find a stylist who truly understood their hair. There was not a single professional, Afro-centric salon in the entire region - and the impact was real: damaged edges, wasted money, and the quiet resignation of settling for less.
